Orange Hearts

I had some colourful heart fabric and thought I'd cut them into 4" squares
and pair them up with some solid colours

Framed all the squares with a 2" solid white border and finished off
with a 5" orange dotted fabric.

Made a matching pillow too.

Backing fabric was an IKEA striped fabric and went for
 solid white for the binding.

Turned out ok :-)

Ballerina in Paris!

A simple fabric with ballerinas on top and at the bottom.

Didn't have to do much - just added a 5" bright pink printed
fabric as finishing border and quilted straight line grid in the center.

Enough fabric for a matching pillow too!

Backing fabric was a lighter pink with tiny polkadots
and binding was a bright solid pink.

Simple. Done in a day!

Sports Quilt - II

Yet another Sports panel I thought would be great for the lil' man.

Added a lite coloured fabric with red dots as the finishing border . . .

. . . . and quilted the center piece.

Went for a darker brown tiny polkadots as backing and a
daring solid blue for its binding.

Turned out nice!

Colour Blocks!

It's finally DONE!

Took me quite sometime  . . .

But oh so worth it!

Block size was 12" and so I made 4 across and 5 down. Each colour block is made up of small scraps of similar colour. Framed it with a 1" solid white and then another frame with 1.5" of the respective solids.
It was fun doing it up!

Backing fabric was a lovely bold colourful stripes I had in my stash.
Binding was tiny red dots fabric.

I JUST LOVE IT!!
